The School of International Education (SIE) at Dalian Neusoft University of Information is responsible for planning and implementing university’s international engagement. SIE offers non-degree education for overseas students. Currently, international students mainly come from Russia, Japan, South Korea, Thailand and the USA. SIE offers foundation Chinese language courses for students who plan to study degree courses taught in Chinese, long-term/short-term Language & Culture programs, and etc. In 2012, DNUI became the first HSK online test center in Dalian authorized by Hanban (National Chinese Language Office). So far, more than 1,700 international students have participated in long-term/short-term Language & Culture programs in DNUI.
